The subject is Danish soldiers who were injured in the War
in Afghanistan from 2001 until 2009. I illustrate the losses with random body
parts. There is no official documentation on the actual number of injuries, but
maimed soldiers are presented with a medal at the end of their service. The
dead are... dead. They get a flag on their coffin.
